1. Wavelengths: what numbers like 415, 630 and 830 nm mean

Wavelength is measured in nanometers (nm). Different wavelengths interact with tissue differently, so a useful product specification should state the actual wavelengths emitted rather than simply saying “red light” or “near-infrared.”

Coverage is a practical specification rather than a medical claim. Some products are face-only; others use a separate or integrated component for the neck and upper chest.

6. Treatment time and consistency
